NPA Awards
Master Breeder Award This prestigious award was established in 1930, and with the exception of the years during the second world war. It is given to those fanciers worthy of the title "National Pigeon Association Master Breeder of Pure Bred Pigeons" The National Pigeon Association issues a Master Breeder Award to individuals whose skill and ability as breeders have enabled them to produce pigeons of outstanding quality of any breed pf pigeon that win the highest honors year after year at well known American shows. Recipients of the Master Breeder Award have produced birds of a uniform high quality over a period of at least ten years (minimum), and have been recognized as having improved the quality of their chosen breed, and helped to advance it's popularity. The quality of birds produced by these breeders, and his or her show record is to be considered an outstanding example in the art and science of breeding domestic pigeons.
Master Judge Award This Award replaces the old NPA Judges Patch. The Board felt that the emphasis on judges should be most important due to the fact that they are the ones who have some of the most effect on our birds in the hobby. The first awards to be made at the 1990 Grand National in Pomona, California January 17-19, 1991. There are two categories for this award, the All Breed Master Judge and the Specialty Breed Master Judge.
Lifetime Achievement
Award The Lifetime Achievement Award was created several years ago. It is intended to be used for members who have never held an office in the NPA but have done many things to promote the pigeon hobby and has been active in pigeons for at least 15 years.
Appreciation Award The Appreciation Award is used for show personnel. There will be two awards - one for the Grand National Show Superintendent and one for the Show Secretary. These two awards will be presented each year and will be confirmed by the Board of Directors at their Annual Meeting.
Wendell Levi Outstanding Service Award The three immediate past presidents of the NPA serve as a committee to select the winner of this annual award. The award is given to that person, who in the opinion of the committee, has done the most service to pigeons in general and the National Pigeon Association in particular during the previous year. The Wendell Levi Award replaces the discontinued James R. Lairmore Award.

R. Lairmore Outstanding Service Award The James R. Laimore Award has been renamed as the Wendell Levi Service Award.
Presidents Award The recipient of this award is selected by the President of the NPA. This honor is awarded to the person who has invaluably assisted the President to successfully administer his office and perform his duties as President during the past year.
Frank H. Hollmann Award The Frank Hollmann Award is a honor given to a veteran fancier of more than twenty years membership in the National Pigeon Association and service to the pigeon fancy.
50
Year Membership Award This award is for 50 years of consecutive membership in the NPA. The first award was given at the 2008 Grand National at Mt. Clemens, MI.
