November 6, 2009 -- Illinois -- The
Midwest King Club will be sponsoring the combined 2nd and 3rd
District shows of the
American King Club, in conjunction with the Mid American Pigeon
Club at the county fairgrounds in Princeton, Illinois on November 7th,
2009. The Mid American Pigeon Club is an all breeds club
and will be exhibiting four (4) specialty meets at this years show;
The American Show Kings, National Chinese Owl Club, Mookies, and
Classic Old Frills. There is also an all breeds exhibition to
include Jacobins, Fantails, Indian Fantails, Hubbels, English
Trumpeters, French Mondains, German Trumpeters, Old German Owls,
Parlor Tumblers, American Show Racers, Frillbacks, Oriental Rollers,
Homers, and English Carriers. There will be a concession
stand, a 4-sale section, a 50/50 drawing, and a raffle. The
show hall will be open for exhibitors on Friday Nov 6th from 4-8 PM,
and open to the public on Saturday from 7 AM until the last bird
