2011 Election Results

The ballot counting is over and there is a new slate of officers for 2012-2013. I have also attached the breakdown by district. I was very pleased to see that out of 695 ballots only 12 had to be rejected. Of those 12, four showed up after august 1st in the mail, two did not have printed name and signature, six had more than one candidate marked on the ballot, in other words those had votes for every candidate or more than one candidate for the same position. This is very encouraging compared to the last election and I would like to personally thank the Secretary team of Ed, Carol and Lisa Pointer for producing the ballots in a way that alleviates any simple mistakes that would in turn cause ballots to be rejected. I would also like to thank Lennie Mefferd for flying up here to help with the counting of the ballots. We counted the ballots twice due to the closeness of some of the elections and the ballots will be forwarded to the committee on credentials and review shortly.
